Ready got her name because her markings on her back looked just like she had a saddle on; ready to ride. She is a very gentle mare and has beautiful conformation. She is also homozageus and produces pintos. We did some showing with Ready when she was young and she did quite well, but she just does not have that "show me" attitude to win big. She does make a great mom though and is one of our favorite boodmares.
