Hello from Half Measures Ranch.

It is a beautiful Spring day here at the ranch; the grass is green and the

horses are spotted all over the hills enjoying it.  We hope all of you are having a good 2011 so far.  It is hard to believe it is already February.  Show season will be starting soon. 

We are pleased to be hosting the Norcal membership gathering on March 5th, here at the ranch.  Should be lots of good food, info, and friendship.  Hope everyone comes.

We (Casey and Kelly and us) had a good show season last year with Faces.  This year though he is spending the year with Kim Sweatt and her husband John in Reno.  Kim has graciously offered to work with him and we are really happy about that. 

We had a very sad occasion in 2010 as well; Grandpa's Gambling Man died.  We still miss him terribly.  He was actually our first REAL show horse and he was sure attached to our hearts.  There are probably lots of you who have an offspring of his.  He will always have a special place with us.

Guess that is it for now.  Happy 2011 to all of you.  I will be trying to get updated pictures this year....wish me luck.
